Seasonable Temps for Weekend Before Storm Starts Our Next Week

It seems like it rains every Friday, and then is beautiful on Saturday. We keep that streak going this weekend.

A front that brought showers Friday pushed offshore last night. Now, we have high pressure from Canada moving in with drier air and a breeze from the northwest Saturday morning.

We start off pretty warm for this time of year, in the 40s and 50s. It should be easy to get to 70 degrees for a lot of us, somewhat cooler at the shore as the wind dies down and a seabreeze develops. Under bright blue sky, I guess the only thing to complain about could be the pollen count jumping up.

Also, the sunburn factor Saturday is close to a 10 out of 10.

We have a beautiful full moon Saturday night, temperature slowly fall through the 60s to the 50s in the evening. We may even end up in the 30s and 40s and parts of New Hampshire and Maine.

There’s a huge storm in the middle of the nation producing heavy snow in the Rockies and severe weather in the plains. That storm is only inching in our direction. On Sunday, a warm front in New York will generate clouds here and maybe a shower or two, especially in northern and western New England.

Highs Sunday well into the 70s to near 80 degrees away from the coast.

Wind will pick up from the southeast, and southwest.

Showers and maybe a thunderstorm late Sunday as the most humid day or so for the season is in the works for Monday.

Low pressure to our north Monday will generate a gusty wind from the south west with scattered showers and a thunderstorm. There’s a slight chance we could have some damaging thunderstorms. High temperature in the 70s to low 80s.

Yet another front moves offshore Monday night, with more beautiful air coming in from Canada Tuesday and to start Wednesday. More seasonable with high temperatures close to 70.

We likely have another warm front coming in Wednesday or Thursday with a chance of a few more showers. But it looks a lot warmer this week, than last, that’s for sure.
