Residents living in northern New England will find themselves reaching for a snow shovel. Snowy weather has moved into parts of New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.
Maine will see the heaviest snowfall. 6-12 inches is expected to fall there throughout the day. Inland and mountainous areas will be hit the hardest.
Northern New Hampshire and Vermont could see 1-6 inches.
Beware of falling tree limbs as blustery conditions will accompany the storm. Sporadic power outrages should be expected.
Temperatures will plunge overnight. Cold air will remain in New England through Saturday.
