Clearing Ahead of Sunny Sunday, But Soaking Rain on the Way

After a sunny Sunday, Monday will be the start of a soggy stretch

There will be clear skies overnight, and it will be significantly less humid.

Sunday will be the pick of the weekend. We’re expecting sunny skies and it will be cooler with low dew points.

Clouds will begin to increase overnight Sunday.

May was a dry month with a rainfall deficit just over an inch and a half.

Monday will be the start of a soggy stretch. Rain will begin Monday morning and continue on and off through Wednesday morning. When you tally up the rain over three days, parts of New England may see up to two inches of rain.

By Wednesday afternoon, we’re expecting a gradual drying trend. It will be unseasonably cool with temperatures in the 50s most afternoons. Even Wednesday as the rain ends, it will be cool.

The week will end with some sunshine and warmer weather. Temperatures will range from the high 60s on Thursday to the mid 70s on Friday.

Nice weather should linger into the weekend.

Monday and Tuesday of the following week look mild, but unsettled.
