Temperatures Taking a ‘Rollercoaster Dive' This Weekend

Temperatures wil be going down tonight as we go into the weekend

Temperatures take a rollercoaster dive tonight and Saturday all thanks to strong cold front sweeping in from the northwest, ushering in that cold Canadian air that is typical of early December.

Overnight lows tonight will dip into the 20s north, lower 30s south, so be sure to bundle up before your coffee run Saturday morning. We’ll see wall to wall sunshine this weekend, but after a frigid start, temperatures will struggle to make it out of the 40s for high temperatures Saturday.

As high pressure slides to our south, the wind will also change direction from the northwest to out of the southwest, bringing in a slight warm-up for Sunday, alongside mostly sunny conditions.

Sunday’s high temperatures will make it into the mid to upper 50s, and the warm-up will continue for the start of the next work week with highs reaching into the 60s on Monday, still under quiet and sunny conditions.

Midweek brings the next chance for rain, so stay tuned for the very latest updates as this week also coincides with the King Tides’, the highest tides of the year.
