Watch Out for Thunder and Intense Rain Today

Another very humid day for New England on Thursday will breed a few more thunderstorms, but nothing like we saw Wednesday – far more widely scattered and not as intense.

Nonetheless, any lightning outside can be dangerous, so do keep an eye to the sky and be ready to seek shelter if a storm threatens.

Humid with patchy fog overnight Thursday night into Friday – a day of variable clouds and perhaps a shower in Southern New England, with scattered showers and afternoon thunder in the north.

A strong cold front will approach Saturday, but prior to its afternoon arrival, muggy air will continue with a period of relatively quiet weather preceding strong afternoon thunderstorms.

Behind the cold front, Sunday will be a gem – not humid and plentiful sunshine with highs around 80.

The next chance of showers returns later Monday into early Tuesday, before some slightly cooler air next week in the exclusive Early Warning Weather 10-day than what we saw this week.
