After 8 days of a trace or more of rain (some had 9 on the South Shore thanks to a renegade shower this morning), it finally broke.
The week we've been waiting for all spring is finally here. One where we can wear t-shirts and shorts for more than a random day. Where thoughts turn to gardening and swatting flies. Where spring may actually turn to summer for some.
It's not a fantasy, either. Warming will be significant after chilly starts in the morning. By Thursday, some spots may actually hit 80 degrees away from the coast. The pattern has shifted and the storms are being redirected - or outright blocked - thanks to high pressure.
Sea breezes return along the coast by midweek, but even here they will act to cool off the afternoons, not plunge us into gray skies with mist and drizzle. It's not until Friday that we have a threat for any wet weather.
So kick back, relax and enjoy the week!
