Wind Settling for Quaint Afternoon in New England

Another bright, beautiful day is coming up for the region on Tuesday. Temperatures will be very similar to what they were on our Monday.

Most locations should reach 70 degrees and there won’t be as much wind. Gusts during the day on Monday reached 40 mph at times, but they will generally remain below 20 mph on Tuesday.

Wednesday will be warmer with some showers since a warm front will be lifting through the region. Areas stuck in the clouds that will see showers will only be in the 50s and 60s during the afternoon.

Areas south of the warm front will reach temps in the upper 70s and low 80s. In far northern Maine, where we stay dry, temperatures will reach the upper 60s.

Similar weather is set for our Thursday as the warm front continues to straddle New England. It will be warm, but unsettled with additional showers around.

Friday through the weekend looks really nice. High temperatures will reach the low-to-mid 70s. There won’t be much humidity. Most days will feature bright blue skies. There is an outside chance that we could see a shower or two on Sunday, but don’t cancel or postpone your outdoor plans just yet.

The weather the following week looks to remain a bit unsettled. We should see on and off showers with high temperatures reaching the low to mid 70s.
