A Couple of Inches of High Terrain & North Country Snow Overnight Tonight

A cold front marching through New England overnight Monday night will usher in colder air and change rain to snow, mostly for higher terrain at first, then descending to lower terrain of northern Vermont and New Hampshire from 10 PM onward, respectively.  When drier air takes over, a coating of snow will have fallen for most areas, though I expect one to three inches in higher terrain.  This image represents the accumulated snow forecast from the high-resolution RPM model from Weather Services International, airing on NECN this evening.
