At Least 31 Now Dead in Three States Due to Storms

(NECN: NBC: Henryville, Ind.) - At least 31 are confirmed dead in tornadoes in the Midwest and South, and that number is expected to arrive.

The deadly storms on Friday cut a swatch of death and destruction in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.

"we're going to do everything we can to get you back on your feet and in your homes," said Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels at an impromptu news conference Saturday morning in Henryville.

The storms were the second to hit the region in just 48 hours.
