(NECN: Jennifer Eagan) - Along the Massachusetts Pike in Westboro, Massachusetts, the snow has been piling up all morning.
Already by 4:30 a.m., about 5 inches had accumulated on the road.
Governor Deval Patrick has urged all non-essential workers to stay home and avoid the roadways. If you do have to venture outside, drive safely and slowly.
Patrick says there will be 4,000 sanders and snow plows along the roads today.
