City of Boston at Center of Snow Storm

(NECN: Tom Langford) - This storm has already forced cities and towns across New England to cancel school. So if you don't have to get out and drive, don't. If you do, take it easy.

The city of Boston is expected to get around 5 to 8 inches of snow.

Already, the City of Boston has declared a snow emergency. Cars parked on "Snow Emergency" streets are getting towed to make way for the plows, salt and sand trucks.

There are already many crews on the streets, but as the snow begins to fall harder and harder, they have their work cut out for them.

Around 5 a.m., the Mass Pike in Boston was mostly clear, but then by 5:30 a.m, snow was starting to stick on most city roadways.
