(NECN: Amanda Rous, New Haven, Conn.) - Trying to find a parking spot following a snowstorm can be very frustrating. New Haven, Conn. hopes to relieve that problem.
They've issued a citywide parking ban for the remainder of the week in order to help clear the streets of snow in a more efficient manner.
"I think it's a good thing," said Gary Lynes. "You cannot argue with the public works. They've got a big job."
Pay-loaders and plows will be working diligently throughout the week.
Parking restrictions will be in place in both residential and city areas.
Signs indicating the times of snow removal will be posted around the city.
