Conn. Snow Removal Budget Surpassed as State Gets Ready for Another Storm

(NECN) - Connecticut is already in the red when it comes to budgeted funds for snow and ice removal.

So far $30 million has been spent on 11 storms.

The state is still preparing for storm number twelve.

Governor Dan Malloy is activated the state emergency operations center Thursday morning.

All non-essential state employees have been told to come in at 10:00 a.m.
