Death Toll Rises to 8 in Colo. Flooding

HYGIENE, Colo. (AP) - Clearing skies and receding waters have allowed crews in Colorado to intensify their search efforts for the hundreds still unaccounted for after days of heavy rains and flash floods.

Twenty-one helicopters fanned out Monday to drop supplies and airlift those who needed help. State officials say the disaster has killed as many as eight people.
