Dramatic Surveillance Video: Tornado Blazes Through St. Louis Airport

(NECN: St. Louis, Missouri) - Workers at the airport in Saint Louis are scrambling to get it back up and running after a tornado slammed into the airport's terminals.

This video from Lambert Airport shows people running and debris flying through the air. At one point during Friday night's tornado, airport employees yelled at passengers to get away from the windows as debris flew threw the terminals.

Some started running and screaming as they were evacuated.

Lambert-Saint Louis International Airport is expected to reopen on Sunday.

No deaths have been reported at the airport or in the surrounding neighborhoods, but the damage is extensive. Residents are combing through what's left of their homes, trying to salvage what they can.
