East Coast Storm Flips Airplanes Upside-down

(NECN/WPVI) - Storms have been pounding the East Coast this morning from Virginia all the way up to Maine. High wind was blowing roofs from the tops of homes in Maryland.

But in New Jersey, airplanes were not strong enough to stay put.

Video from the Trenton-Mercer Airport in Mercer County shows planes flipped upside-down from strong wind gusts.

Thousands of customers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania are without power, and a wind advisory is in effect for much of the area until about 8 p.m. tonight.
