Friday brings fair weather for just about everyone - perhaps a pop-up shower in Southern New England - then tropical rain bands slowly move in from south to north on Saturday, before Hurricane Irene blasts through New England on Sunday, with the worst conditions Sunday afternoon and evening.
Two videos follow. The first includes an hour-by-hour wind forecast, and a brief explainer of why a track into New England seems quite possible to me. The second has several maps of specific effects, as well as Friday's "To-Do" Preparedness List.
