Flooding Closes Numerous Roads in Vermont

(NECN) - Overnight flooding has closed a number of roads in northern Vermont. Most of the damage was reported around the Missisquoi River and the Lamoille River, but several more towns have been hit with severe flooding.

Our photographer Kika Bronger sent in this photos of a road washed out near her home in Duxbury, Vermont. The state is reminding people to follow detour signs, never drive across a flooded road, and watch out for unexpected washouts or sudden fast-moving water near streams and waterways.
