Friday Midday High Tide Brings Some Flooding in Mass.

(NECN: Eileen Curran, Scituate, Mass.) - Coastal communities in Massachusetts are seeing some flooding during Friday's midday high tide.

In Scituate's Humarock section, police have had to close off roadways as ocean water mixed in with slushy streets. Although people are allowed to still walk up the road, they are keeping their distance from the water.

While there isn't a mandatory evacuation in Scituate, officials do recommend residents leave in the event there is more flooding, which would strand them.
