Grim Aftermath After Killer Tornadoes Rip Through Parts of U.S.

(NECN/WTKR) - At least 45 deaths have been reported from storms that churned from the Midwest through the South to Virginia.

The tornado-spawning storms tore roofs of homes and buildings and knocked down power lines.

Rescue crews are searching for survivors in the rubble.

Flash flooding is also a problem in some areas.

Vanessa Murdock reports from outside the Page Middle School in Gloucester County in Virginia. A tornado ripped the roof off of this school and overturned buses and cars.
