(NECN: Josh Brogadir, Falmouth, Mass.) - Evidence of the power of the weekend storm bearing down on the southern coast of New England was available early Saturday evening.
A downed tree brought power lines with it at around 2:30 p.m., blocking Route 28 in Falmouth. NSTAR reports 260 customers are without power.
Crews were working Saturday evening to clear the tree from the area and return power to customers.
Drivers are asked to proceed with caution as they travel Saturday night, as more trees could come down due to high winds accompanying this storm.
