Hurricane Irene Will Cause Damage in New England

(NECN) - Meteorologist Nelly Carreno says that New England will feel the effects of Hurricane Irene no matter where the storm lands.

Carreno predicts the storm will cause some flooding to western New England, and cause wind damage in the east, especially around Cape Cod and the islands.

Carreno also said to be prepared for evacuations.
