Last Day of Winter Making Messy Roads in NH

(NECN: Lauren Collins, Manchester, N.H.) - A lot of people in New Hampshire say that they are done with winter.

On the last day of winter, it's the same old story in New England. It's good business for plow drivers, but a lot of residents are simply waiting for spring.

The state is also ready, with each snowfall raising removal expenses.

"We are budgeting approximately $39 million for this year, and now it's looking closer to $45 million," said Bill Boynton of New Hampshire's Department of Transportation.

The evening commute in the state could get a little slick with more snow on the way.
