(NECN) - A series of storms the first ten days of January 1996 dropped a record 36.6" of snow in Boston.
Here at NECN, a much younger Tim Kelley, clad in red, measured 27" of snow.
He says that day, January 10, 1996, still stands as the record for deepest snow since NECN launched in Newton, Massachusetts back in March of 1992.
