(NECN) – Maine Governor Paul LePage is asking for nearly $2 million in federal disaster aid for damage caused by the December ice storm.
The $1.8 million request covers all 16 counties in the state.
The storm knocked out power to more than 160,000 homes and businesses and left many people in the dark for more than a week.
