Massport Spokesman on Storm: It Was as Good as It Could Get for Logan Airport

(NECN) – Due to a winter storm, dozens of flights have been cancelled at Boston’s Logan Airport.

Massport Spokesman Matthew Brelis joined us over the phone for an update on the situation.

He said the airport stayed opened through the night and there are some planes departing.

Brelis said, “It was as good a storm as you could possibly have at an airport.”

He said that the system is in place and working but it’s a matter of airlines reworking their schedules.

Brelis said to call ahead on flight status before going to the airport.
