Messy Day in Central Mass.

(NECN: Melissa Toupin, Boylston, Mass.) - Heavy wet snow started falling in Central Massachusetts Thursday night, and continued through the morning. Many people are fed up with winter.

Plow drivers were out all night trying to stay ahead of the storm. Boylston's highway superintendent Don Parker estimates the town got about seven inches of snow.

By Friday evening, there was still some slush on the roads making them a little slippery. Police say people are driving carefully, keeping accidents to a minimum.
