(NECN) – A winter storm could also bring with it some coastal flooding, as the National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood advisory for midday Thursday.
High tide begins later Thursday morning at 10:30.
Coastal Plymouth County and Cape Cod could see the most effects.
Many residents in Scituate, Mass. will be hoping the newly-restored seawall is able to weather the storm.
A spokesman for MEMA told the Boston Globe that they're prepared to open emergency shelters on the cape if needed.
