(NECN: Jackie Bruno, Leominster, Mass.) - The snow is still coming down in Leominster, Mass. where a lot of kids had a snow day.
The kids were sledding, making snow angels and just enjoying the snow.
For them, it beats math, science and social studies.
Some aren't as excited. Nicholas Teixiera, who is in eighth grade, had to wake up early to shovel the driveway.
His little sister did come outside to cheer him up, but the first grader wasn't helping shovel.
Third grader Candida Pereira was happy to spend the day on the slopes with her dad, who she says usually is always working.
It was a day well spent enjoying family and a break from their usual routines.
Jackie Bruno has more.
