At high tide in Kennebunk, the surf was heavy. But there was thankfully no flooding.
Life was rougher on the roads, where police reported lots of cars sliding off roads.
"It's been crazy. Snowing, constantly, and freezing," said one woman. "It's been a long, long, short winter."
