(NECN/CNN) - The mighty Mississippi River continues to gush through parts of Tennessee as it reaches nearly 48 feet, less than a foot shy of the record level set in 1937.
The river is expected to crest on Tuesday night, and residents are moving into shelters to stay away from rising waters.
