A severe thunderstorm threat exists for Thursday, with a system that produced tornadoes in Wisconsin Tuesday, Michigan Wednesday and will cross New England Thursday.  Meanwhile, Hurricane Irene is en route to the East Coast, and has the potential to be a very damaging storm for New England, IF she holds on the predicted path.
