Monday and Tuesday have felt like summer in New England, but there is potentially severe weather in the forecast for western parts of New England Tuesday evening.
Beginning Tuesday, thunderstorms are expected to hit parts of Vermont, Western Massachusetts and Connecticut, according to NECN meteorologist Nelly Carreno.
Overnight, there may be heavy downpours as the storms move eastward, but thunderstorms are not expected.
Wednesday, western New England will see some breaks of sunshine.
Heavy downpours are expected again in the region Thursday.
