(NECN) - New England faced some messy winter weather on Wednesday, particularly in the northern part of the region.
In New Hampshire, there were more than 400 school closures. It was the first snow day of the year.
While only a few inches stuck to the ground, school officials didn't want to risk the chance of accidents due to the slippery road conditions.
The Weather Channel's Eric Fisher joined "NECN Morning" live from Concord, N.H. to talk about the wintry mess.
