Storm Could Bring Wettest March Ever for Maine

(NECN/WMTW: Cam Tran - Saco, ME) - If you live in Maine, expect the worst of this storm Tuesday afternoon.

Flooding is expected along the Saco River.

By the time the rain stops falling in Maine, it could be the wettest March ever.

The record for Portland in March is just under 10 inches of rain.

This latest storm could put rain totals in the city over the top.

Parts of southern Maine have received eight inches of rain in single storms this month.

WMTW News reporter Cam Tran is at Camp Ellis in Saco, Maine with more on the conditions.

Parts of this report came directly from the Associated Press.
