Thousands Without Power in Northern New England

(NECN: Eileen Curran, Nashua, NH) - Ron Miller of Atkinson had hoped to put his snow blower away for the season. But he was there, April 1st, clearing snow from his driveway.

New Hampshire got a good blast of white overnight, mixed with rain that caused the heavy snow to coat tree limbs and power lines. That left nearly 30,000 people in the state in the dark.

In Nashua, the streets and sidewalks were clear, but 5,000 people were left in the dark.

Everyone is expected to have their power returned by Saturday morning.
