(NECN) - Matt Noyes says the tropical wave of thunderstorms off of the African desert is gaining organization very quickly and is likely to organize over the next couple of days. It is over warm water and entering favorable wind. It is the first in a series of tropical waves.
There may be three storms at the same time at some point over the next few weeks, which doesn't happen very often.
Thunderstorms near Florida are persistent but not organized.
