The remnants of Tropical Storm Emily are moving northeast across the Northeast Atlantic and unlikely to redevelop, but a new tropical wave off the coast of Africa is worth monitoring. The newly emerged tropical wave was quite impressive over Africa, but experienced substantial wind shear that has left it disorganized - more favorable upper level conditions should await the thunderstorm cluster as it drifts westward.
