(NECN) - Heavy winds have caused a tree to fall onto a house and a car in Billerica, Mass.

Three people were inside the home when the tree came down. The tree fell just inches from where an occupant was sleeping.

There were no injuries.

The strong winds caused problems throughout the state on Thursday morning, also knocking down trees and power lines in Andover and Lincoln.

Power was lost in parts of Andover. Numerous power lines were damaged.

Meanwhile, in Boston, police say a tree limb crash on a few cars on Charles and Revere Streets just before 5 p.m.
