Trees Fall Into Houses, Bring Down Power Lines in Andover

(NECN: Andover, Mass.) - There were at least three reports of trees crashing into houses in Andover during Saturday's severe storm.

Three streets were closed due to downed power lines and trees resting on wires. The traffic lights in Andover Center were without power, affecting traffic.

Several trees were uprooted or split due to the high winds. NECN spotted storm damage on Abbot, Avon, Chestnut and Pasho Streets and Kathleen Drive.

Viewer John Zahoruiko sent in photos -- seen in the second photo gallery -- of damage on Hillside Road in North Andover. He said several other trees were down, snapped and uprooted.
