Tsunami Plunges Cars Into Trees, Rocks in Hawaii

(NECN/CNN) - Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie signed a 'State of Disaster Proclamation' after the tsunami caused millions of dollars in damages.

Here's a look at some of Friday's worst damage.

Tsunami waves wiped this home in Kealakekua Bay right off its foundation, and swept it into the water. These fish struggled to survive after being tossed ashore by the powerful waves.

Numerous boats and harbors were left in disarray--- and you can see some cars were damaged as well. The disaster proclamation will allow Hawaii to get federal funds to help rebuild.
