(NECN: Kristen Caira, Scituate, Mass) - At least two homes caught fire in Scituate, Massachusetts today. Flooded streets made it difficult for crews to get at the flames.
The storm slammed into Scituate, causing high tides which flooded neighborhoods. On Sixth Avenue, two homes were destroyed by an electrical fire.
Residents were evacuated by boat, and firefighters had to wade up to their necks in water, with hoses to save the other homes on the street.
