(NECN) - Today is supposed to be the opening of outdoor ice skating season in Boston, but it doesn't really feel like it.
That's why the opening of the skating rink in Boston Common is being put on ice for just a few days.
The Frog Pond skating rink was set to open today, but the warm november forced the season opening to be pushed back to Sunday.
Opening ceremonies will feature several world-class skaters, including former Olympian Emily Hughes.
The rink will open at 10 a.m. each day, except on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
