Weather Spotters Confirm Funnel Clouds in Central Mass.

(NECN) - Joseph Dellicarpini of the National Weather Service joins NECN to discuss the tornado warning that was in effect for over an hour in Worcester County Monday night.

There is no confirmation of a tornado touchdown, but several trained weather spotters confirmed funnel clouds in Lancaster and Clinton around 8pm.

Dellicarpini says the National Weather Service will travel to the Ashburnham area Tuesday to survey damage and determine if a tornado did occur.
