(NECN: Jennifer Eagan, Hampton Beach, NH) - The howling wind quickly spread flames at the unoccupied Surf Hotel in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. Several buildings, including an arcade and a restaurant, caught fire.
Firefighters from Maine and Massachusetts headed to the coastal town to help contain the five-alarm blaze.
Hampton Fire Chief Chris Silver said the fire is believed to have started on the first floor of the Surf Hotel. The cause has not been determined.
No injuries were reported.
