Wintry Weather Pounds Snowbound Mid-Atlantic

(NECN/ABC) - Winter weather is slamming the mid-Atlantic today, the second massive storm to plow through the region in less than a week.

In Washington, D.C., they are still cleaning up the three feet of snow that's piled up all over the nation's capital.

There are blizzard warnings, fierce wind and up to another foot of snow in store.

Nearly 5,000 flights nationwide have been canceled.
