Heavy rain triggers landslides in China

(NECN/CCTV) – In China, heavy rain triggered landslides in the nation’s southern provinces. An entire apartment building slid down a mountain side. In other parts of the country, a three-story house was buried by mud. Rescue workers managed to pull two survivors from the building. The recent rains come in the wake of Typhoon Morakot which caused more than $1 billion in damage.
