Zoo New England Animals Go Wild for Red Sox

Bobby Doerr, a Red Sox Hall of Famer dubbed the “Silent Captain” by longtime teammate Ted Williams, has died at 99.

Boston has World Series fever and the animals at the Zoo New England are no exception. In fact, you could say they are "wild" for the Red Sox!

Various animals, big and small, showed their support for the World Series contender with Red Sox gear. Porcupines munched on a “Let’s Go Red Sox” apple, red pandas curiously approached a tiny baseball helmet and goats feasted into a delicious baseball-themed bucket of hay.

The Boston-based team is currently leading the World Series 2-0 against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
