Paperwork delays Iraqi shoe-thrower release

(NECN) – The Iraqi man arrested for throwing his shoes at former President Bush won’t be getting out of jail Monday as planned. Muntadhar Al-Zeidi’s release has been delayed because of paperwork processing delays. Instead he’ll get out Tuesday. The 30 year old says he will use his new found celebrity status to promote humanitarian causes such as rights for orphans and women.
