Skiing, snowboarding prep with Michelle Gorgone

(styleboston) – In “Detour,” host Chris Talanian joins Olympic skier, Michelle Gorgone, and Boston Sports Club Trainer, Chad Seltzer for a skiing and snowboarding, preseason warm-up. Chris says that winter sports are not just about the equipment, but also about getting in great shape. Gorgone and Seltzer walk Chris through the workout. First Chris does some leg lifts, followed by high knee running. Gorgone tells Chris he has fancy feet as he tackles ladder running. Last, Chris attempts to do block jumping, but he wipes out. The workout targets at least four or five muscle groups. Chris says it’s a serious workout and now he’s prepared to hit the slopes!
